    Baby Bean YXE is a parent and tot play cafe that launched in July 2023! The cafe fosters and creates an all inclusive, judgment-free environment for all ages, offering a range of beverages and food from baby to adult options, toys suitable for ages 0 months+, and diverse programming covering fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Sydney and her husband, Colton, are the proud owners, collaborating with Not Your Average Book Club to host family-friendly events like book swaps and Christmas gatherings with Santa.     Meet Jordyn, the creative force behind Countryside Creations! She started crocheting to relax and soon became passionate about it. After her collection outgrew her needs, she began selling at markets and taking custom orders. Known for her vivid imagination, Jordyn loves bringing ideas to life through her work. She's especially excited to be part of this year's '12 Days of Bookmas' and looks forward to spreading holiday book love and cheer!

    Introducing Cuggi Crafts, or as our Canadian counter parts would call us, the Crafty Cousins! Meet Katia, Arianna, and myself (Alessia), your favourite Italian cousins of Italian descent. We are so excited to wonder down this path requiring loads of creativity. We're thrilled to team up with Not Your Average Book Club YXE to feature and sell our delightful creations. From keychains and wristlets to custom tote bags, we are crafting it all. After all, with Alessia leading the pack as the eldest Cugina, it's only fitting that we join forces for this years 12 DAYS OF BOOKMAS. So stay tuned, all of our creations will be posted here.

    Meet Rebecca, the owner of BelleRose Floral Boutique & Bath Company in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. This summer, her business celebrated its 5th anniversary. After noticing a high demand for bath bombs during Christmas, Rebecca started making her own products and fell in love with creating natural, skin-friendly items. BelleRose now offers bath bombs, truffles, shower steamers, bath salts, and soap bars, with more products coming soon. Rebecca's passion for her craft shines through, and she hopes everyone enjoys her creations as much as she does!

  • Bookish Essentials

    Meet Rachel! She got into reading in 2022, quickly became obsessed with her Kindle, and started a Bookstagram in 2023 to share her love of books. This year, she opened a small business to create stickers for decorating her own Kindle and bookmarks for all the books she was reading. This hobby soon grew into making these items for others as well. More recently, Rachel introduced Kindle inserts as a way to further personalize her device with fun designs. She is honored to be included in this collaboration and hopes to spread some of these goodies to more book-loving people.

    Meet Lydia, the owner of Craving Books, an online sticker shop based in Montreal. Specializing in bookish stickers, she's now expanding into other themed and personalized designs. Coming from a family of business owners, Lydia always knew she'd explore entrepreneurship, but her full-time role as a nurse lacked a creative outlet. After receiving a Cricut for Christmas, she began making stickers, which quickly turned into Craving Books in January 2024.     Tessa Jordan is the owner of Pen & Page Bookshop in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. A lifelong reader and writer, Tessa fulfilled her dream of opening the shop in 2023. As an educator, she built a 1,500-book classroom library and published her first book, Brave Beyond Measure, in April 2024. Located at 213 Bosworth St., Pen & Page offers the latest releases, timeless favorites, and well-loved books, as well as bookish gifts and handmade small business items.
